NORFOLK, Va. -- TotalVid, the world's largest video download store for action sports, anime, martial arts, travel and instructional videos announced that it now offers over 2,000 full-length titles through its service. The company, which offers on demand access to the Internet's largest selection of videos that consumers want but can't find at their local video store, now offers downloads in over 50 different categories. With over 250 licensors distributing their videos through the TotalVid marketplace, TotalVid has become the industry leader in supplying hard core enthusiasts with the premium, special interest videos they desperately want but can't always find, all at the fraction of the cost of a DVD.

Over the past year, TotalVid has added new categories to its already wide video selection. The new categories include Fishing, Boating and Sailing Instructional, Scuba Diving, Music Documentary, Music Concerts, Fitness, Sports Instructional (Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Golf), Gambling Instruction and Stand-up Comedy.

"We're excited by the growth in the number of producers and distributors who are making their titles available on the TotalVid marketplace. Their participation has allowed us to introduce a number of new categories which significantly expands the appeal of our service," said Karl Quist, founder and president, TotalVid.

TotalVid's content has broad appeal. The total US participation in categories represented on TotalVid exceeds 150 million people, as over 50 million Americans participate in action sports, 25 million play golf and 34 million have taken on a home improvement project this year.

In 2005, the company also announced new partnerships with AOL, Blinkx, Weather.com, DLink, and has expanded its relationship with Comcast to provide 12 free video downloads to new Comcast High-Speed Internet subscribers. TotalVid also announced several partnerships with well known producers and production companies including Transworld, Freeride Entertainment (MTB), Roger Gunn (golf), Reedswain (soccer instruction), and Sport America (sports instruction); among others.
