Provider of interactive music products iPlayMusic, announced on Friday (9 December) that it is to offer a series of 35 beginner guitar video lessons to iTunes users.
The lessons, which are free of charge, can be downloaded and played in iTunes and on video-enabled iPods.
According to the company, the series of lessons provides guitarists with a way to learn basics and to play songs without reading music.
The download also includes lessons featuring songs by artists including Eric Clapton, Leadbelly and Woody Guthrie, the company said.
In related news the company also announced that its entire range of video-based guitar learning products are now available for download to the Mac, PC and iPod.
The 35 free video lessons are available for download on Apple's iTunes Music Store or at http://www.iplaymusic.com.
